Pitch

 Here is my short film pitch including all relevant information about the film I wish to produce. This is important creatively as it is a document which contains the plot, name and potential tagline I would use. A pitch can be done visually or verbally, the whole point is just to represent the writers idea and gain interest from potential investors.The pitch is typically done by the screenwriter.For my pitch i have tried to convey elements that are important to me in regards to my idea.For example the theme of my film is thriller which i want to make clear is a focal point as my production will be more narrative based and will follow some typical thriller conventions.

  Short film idea pitch 

Title-squandered will be a short intro to a film made by me about a girl lost in the woods genre being thriller.

Tagline-lost in the living  

Main protagonist-unnamed girl 

Plot summary-a girl is lost in the woods watching someone disappear and reappear as if by magic, its actually her trying to leave the woods in the future she doesn’t realise this 

Setting-woods/forest will be filmed in Anston stones woods with permission from the local council

Potential barriers:  weather could effect the filming process

 My vision is to have a sort entertaining film, with the audience aim being predominately teenager viewers, shared through YouTube. The main theme being thriller influenced involving a girl, unnamed lost in the woods.
