Production changes-explained
During filming I came across some issues which I had not taken into consideration previously.I feel it is important to take note of such things for future reference as it could come in handy if i was to ever produce another film. These notes allow me to reflect on problems and solutions that i came across in productions.
Sound-For example I planned on having my actor talk when filming(diegetic) as I felt it would fit better and come across more authentic. However when filming i realised the background noises would make this difficult as it would be distracting. So my solution was to do a voiceover as it would be clearer and to use a non diegetic music track to play over the majority of my film and really cement the thriller feel.
Script-In regard to script I decided to change when my actor spoke to a monologue at the end as it seemed more fitting during the editing process,If I was to make another film I would probably try to create a better script as i feel this is where my film lacked.
Location-During filming i realised i only needed to use one of the two outdoor locations I had chosen, this benefited me as I was able to cut travel time down for my actor. It also meant I didn't have to worry about making the two sets look like one area, which would of been difficult to do.
